There seems to be a perception that manipulation is controlling the markets. If you are value investing you should not be worried about manipulators. In actual fact you should use manipulation to your advantage. If a share price goes down and the company does not produce a profit how can you value it anyway.Of course manipulators will use the speculative stocks(stocks that don't make a profit)as a basis to manipulate. An example is LYC what is the true value is it 20c or $2.00 how do you value it?
After watching the markets for 25 years I have seen a big shift away from value investing. To be honest with you from what I can see is that not many people seem to know the numbers on companies and when panic strikes these people are selling into the hands of the value investor. At the end of the day we are here to make profits and the companies we invest in should also strive to make a profit for shareholders.
