if your timeframe is a couple of years, then whatever the shorters/algos / hedgies are doing should not be a decieding factor in investing or not.

there is little doubt of the value at these price levels.

the only issue (for me) is debt levels.

hopefully the AGM provides some clarity on the plan to remove the excess / get the debt down........

if that is done - the company is very well placed for an eventual rebound in oil price (and then with the customary delay), increased activity offshore.

it may be worthwhile asking "what is happeneing" with the Toll JV - as the independent experts rpt points out this is for sale ("Sea-Swift") and the potential impact on mermaid - at the AGM. There is also some "market evidence" of vessel values in that document.
