almost won't even matter if they are dogs or not, goldies will strongly surge after essentially having been largely shunted to date, considering the gold bull trend has been there for close to a decade - US is basically cactus and their very thick paper money mache facade will not hold back the inevitable tide
all my long termers now are either stand alone goldies or they have a heavy gold component, and have been since early this year
