Fair enough. Although with both your suggested lines of response to go to market, I truly believe they are fairly obvious. They don't need to tell anyone that negotiations are continuing, OR that their original intended timing was missed. Both those things are obvious. However, they do need to tell us if they are NOT continuing negotiations. Semantics I know.
