Yes, I would agree the deal is around $1.10 (or more). Shareholders are not understanding the deal and probably don't want to be part shareholders of Latitude and part HUM... hence some short selling going on.
First bid is rarely the last and final bid. Also there might be other interested parties still assessing the situation?? fingers crossed.
HUM is not talking the deal up with the way they manage market announcements... Hope they will release H1 trading performance and make a big noise about the positivity and growth opportunities.
