I will partially answer your question; people on here have raised Hardman as an example (note I was not in Hardman unfortunately!!!) but the Hardman T/O happened years ago plus Hardman was actually producing ie had cash flow so it becomes very difficult to draw comparisons with Hardman.
Others have drawn similarities to Kosmos who, by one way or another had 3 T/O's refused/turned down, and eventually went the IPO way, this was based on Jubilee discovery (remember that Senegal has been compared by the JV to Jubilee) and after the IPO Kosmos was valued at ~$5b BUT Kosmos had a ~25% share of Jubilee.
