As I understand it, this hasn't happened (in a way where anyone ended up getting actual stock) since 2015. Having a director and major holder making lots of money from a "Employee" Stock Option Plan (Simon Clausen) is an odd look. The summary here is wild: https://www.marketindex.com.au/asx/fln

Again - this is something that no-one would care about if FLN had kept up high-double-digit annual growth since 2016. That's the fundamental. Almost anything can be forgiven if there's upside. They are letting the WeWork guy run another company! Matt's problem is that he's created a timid, money-losing conglomerate that's down 13% of its revenues from 2016/2017, against peers who are 400%-700% up.
