Initial numbers taken from bioshares report
2.3 million MS sufferers worldwide. 30% go on to develop SPMS (drug target) so that means maximum market for the drug around 700000.
Minimum treatment cost 60000 USD per year say roughly 80000 ASD pa
Say only 30% can take this up on their own cost, health insurance or government subsidy then 210000 will use drug.
60000 X 210000 = 12.6 billion USD
Please check my numbers as the many 0s can be confusing. Also 30% uptake may not be conservative enough but even 10% uptake is 4.2 billion say 5.7 billion AUD
