Think we just need a letter with a Aus minister's signature saying that the country is willing "in a worst cace scenario" to accept LAMPS waste back to it's country of origin (knowing that those at Lynas will make the NORM waste into commercial products) will IMO set the shorters scrambling for the exit door. I.e. Game, set and Match for the anti Lynas group.
Now, how hard is that to accomplish especially given the fact that the Gillard gov has already promised Japan secure supply of REE for the years to come.
