Check out the takeover of BBC by Lendlease. (I cannot see the info at present as the ASX website is down).

From memory BNB wanted $20-30M for these rights, but were open to negotiation. I do not recall what the final outcome was. If someone else knows, please post.

BBC was a much smaller satellite than some of the others. The two big ones appear to be BBI and BBP. If these two satellites manage to restructure and return to normal operations, then these rights are very valuable. (also BBP paying back the $400M it owes would belp BNB no end).

This is our bargaining tool with the notes (and the banks know this only too well). We are being softened up for a derisory offer. We need to dig our toes in and negotiate, but also we need to be realistic about what we are going to get back.
