i get the impression that the sellers today, under 40c, are using the age old method of valueing a stock called "the sky is falling" technique.

this mindset is one step away from those dear souls who, in a bygone era, walked silently thru the swelling sunday crowds at any speakers corner in the old empire, holding handwritten signs of biblical quotes that "the end is nigh".

you see, "the end is nigh" crowd understood that it is pointless to buy or sell anything because soon the judgement day would be upon us. so there cause was a Victory march to await the arrival of the Son of God.

on the other hand, the " sky is falling" crowd are driven by a fear to run for ya' lives. these folk have no devine assumptions. they cannot be saved by the Hand of God, so they sell everything before the great crash of the falling sky. you will see them running frantic under threatenning skies with the kitchen sink strapped to their luggage cases.

for the courageous, this opens up opportunity to fleece the seller from future rises in the sp.

if I am terribly wrong in my analysis, & the seller was indeed correct in his call of a falling sky, then I will happily wear egg on my face. not that the seller will notice, as he runs hither-tither whilst the great sky falls across whatever path he tread.
