    Chief Joseph & Robert_XX

Just conjoining the theme of the about posts, I dug up a very old Technical Analysis book "How to Chart your Way to Success on the Share Market" by Merrill Armstrong. On page 21 there is a chart of the old Bank of NSW collapsing in 1974/75 ( $8 to $3 in a short period of time). All Technical Analysis books quote similar charts over the years showing where fundamentals of a stock have not changed much but share price behavior does. I am not pushing technical vs fundamental but there are so many cases where Share Price is out of whack with calculated fundamentals. It never makes sense. The recent GFC would be similar to 1974 in ASX. Both hit very hard but fundamentals of sound companies with good prospects did not change sufficiently to justify wild swings in share price.

I guess to be honest this is why I read these threads. I am seeking consensus compared to fundamentals/technical analysis. This way I hope to reconcile & profit.

I am personally worried about broad stock market trends which could impact MCO building its base formation. Anybody else feel the same way?
