They had a JV to develop with Glencore (xstrata) but Glencore pulled out last minute and developed a couple of open pits acquired for exco. Turns out ore was incompatible with current plant so shut them down. Since the JV AOH have not been able to fund or sell the deposit. Recently AOH sold assets in finland for ~ 100 million. AOH currently has market cap at 128m. Basically giving roseby no value.

Have a look at OZL and prominent hill http://www.ozminerals.com/Media/doc...ok-bb2a4128-adc9-42d2-97df-7a444cc72845-0.pdf The total Prominent Hill Mineral Resource at 30 June 2013 was 186Mt @ 1.1% copper and 0.7 g/t gold for 2.0Mt of contained copper and 3.9Moz of contained gold. Prominent hill is much more remote so higher costs but the grade is higher. From what i can see it has been to date marginal but please DYOR.

Perhaps have a read through HGO they have a smaller mine at kanmantoo ~0.7% Cu from memory. Might give you an idea of some of the costs in the region.
