I want to do a covered short VMC/RXL trade.
Short 300k RXL at $0.40 & buy 1M VMC at $0.20.
The in specie distribution will cover the RXL short plus some change to cover fees & I would pick up 1M VMC at an effective cost of $0.08 per share.
Not completely risk free but pretty damn close but I can’t find a broker who will do it even if I post collateral.
Anyone know a broker who will take on such a trade, if so please let me know
