They made a lot of money last few years floating all the West Coast miners. No IPOs this year or next, so no fees. Also they own a stake in two funds which have invested in small Australian mining companies, the value of which will need to be written down significantly.
In addition, the brokers trade on their own behalf, and we dont know whether they have made or lost money this year (more likely to be the latter!)
Thus its hard to value EZL at the moment.
