In their blurb at the bottom of their ASX releases they say "Compared to conventional silicon based photovoltaic technology, Dyesol’s technology has lower cost and embodied energy in manufacture, it produces electricity more efficiently even in low light conditions ".

So if you have lower cost of manufacture and produce electricity more efficiently, I guess it must be the case that you produce electricity at lower cost with DSC ??

I guess no-one will have the specific figures until we see what Chorus sell their steel for compared to 1) regular sheet roofing and 2) PV panels.
