Interesting and I hope so. However despite AHG being the largest car dealer in the country and having revenues double that of APE, APE has a market capitalisation of almost double AHG. I don't understand why the market places such a higher value on APE than AHG. Either APE is overvalued or AHG is undervalued. However, given the huge difference in the PE ratios, maybe APE could pull off a tackover of AHG at a good premium and still make the transaction earnings accretive!
Time will tell.
