@Mental I appreciate that on face value -40 cent EPS means negative earnings and if reading all stocks that way everyone would be able to do it.
Read the half-year in more depth as others have and understand the cause of the loss. Strip out the non-cash write downs as mentioned earlier and it is a profitable entity. The operating cashflow (from memory) is positive indicating that they are paying their debts as and when they fall which is contrary to what you are saying.
I don't believe anyone is under any illusion they are in trouble but some of us (me included) believe that they will trade out of it.
I picked up the stock to high (29.5 cents) but I think they will come back as the business is sustainable over the longer term management just need to pull their head in and sort stuff out.
