Finally an investor which doesn't have blinkers on.
It's not a discussion site without investors looking at both the bull and bear side when doing due diligence on a company. 1-page seems like a nice story, but in tech we all know that valuations can get stretched see circa 1999 NASDAQ. Took the Nasdaq 15 yrs to reach those highs again.
At a $250m valuation you would expect significantly more revenue behind it, not profit, revenue. But the again Xero ran from $5.70 after Peter Thiel took a stake, I bought 15,000 in shares once Thiel too his stake through his vehicle Valar Ventures in late 2012 - they then ran to $40.
It was valed at $600m when he invested and had $30m in revenue, so valed at around 20x annual recurring revenues.
I was actually one of the first posters on the XRO thread after it listed on the ASX so I think I do know a few things on how to pick a solid technology company when I find it.
