Thanks for your reply @BOSKA - much appreciated (the HC Reply function is not working for me today). Silly me for assuming Centrelink would be logical...
I am preparing an application to Centrelink to reevaluate our ISX holdings. I contacted Primary Markets, who couldn't/wouldn't provide me with any evidence of the last ISX trade. They verbally told me the price 23c but would not give the date nor provide any written confirmation.
I will submit the demerger material. Is the current shares on issue of 1,100,792,118 the same figure as at the the Hall Chadwick valuation included in the Notice of Meeting announcement on 14/09/2021? Are you aware if Centrelink determinations, such as yours, are “public” and can be referred to in correspondence with them? (Similar to ATO determinations??)
I had previously thought I’d do an off-market transfer of my personal holdings into my self-managed super fund to bypass submitting a reevaluation request to Centrelink, but that seems near impossible. After multiple calls to my broker, Computershare and Primary Markets, (each kept referring me to the other) it seems that an off-market transfer can’t be done while the shares are suspended. Computershare were willing to transfer if the shares were Issuer Sponsored. My broker is not able to do the transfer, (nor convert my ISX holdings from CHESS to Issuer sponsored so Computershare can do the transfer) while they are suspended. Primary markets may be able to assist but costs are considerably higher.
Any further suggestions greatly appreciated. I'll also contact my accountant.
