These Directors are clearly asleep at the wheel and clearly have little idea of what is going on with their company. Like, what happened to monthly Board meetings, forward short/long term projections, etc?
Following a please explain from the ASX as to their share price decline the Directors need to call for a trading halt:
"The trading halt will enable the Directors to evaluate the half year result to 31st December 2008 and this request follows the ASX market enquiry dated today."
By virtue of the fact the sp has taken a hammering (down 50%) since their last market briefing update on 28 October it would appear that someone knows what is going on with CNP. Perhaps they should tell the Directors!!
