Completely agree with you on both counts.
All that doom and gloom about a gutless market is pathetic, IMO. Investing is all about individual stock picking. Things like the "market", the Dow, the All Ords are not listed on the ASX. And I sure wouldnt buy them if they were!
Folks who complain about the "market" need to take a long look at their own investment style. (Gee I wont get any thumbs up for that.)
