Article in the business section of the Weekend Australian entitled "Riches on offer for biotech stocks" cited the views of Andy Gracey a portfolio manager with Australian Ethical Investors (one of the bigger investors in the sector) on the biotech sector. Mention made of the departures of Alan Robertson from Pharmaxis and Pete Smith from Alchemia but article pretty upbeat with comment biotechs are unmatched for generating big profits for investors, although there are big risks.
Sirtex and Clover were covered as 2 biotech stocks they had recommended in the last 12 months where investors have almost doubled their money.
Of note the article indicated Gracey has been buying Alchemia this week!
