I'm a health professional, with limited knowledge re accounting/economics/legalese/shares etc, and as such am either totally naive or stupidly reading this whole 2 resolutions thing wrongly. So just for schitz and giggles, as our kids say, I'd like to pose a (hopefully) far fetched and highly unlikely hypothetical scenario, which I hope will illustrate the lack of logic imo in the upcoming vote...
So...let's say that the Against wins for Res 1, but the For wins for Res 2...(did say it was far fetched...) it's been suggested that this means we'd be agreeing to the 14.8cent offer, correct? My question is, if this happens, and at 2pm on the 17th the share price on market is 19.5 cents like today, or really, anything higher than 14.8 cents, does Pfizer get rap for 14.8 cents? Because that would REALLY suck lol. How would all the yes voters feel then? How does any of that makes sense??
