That is how I voted too, to ensure that if Resolution 2 ended up being carried/approved, that we hadn't shot ourselves in the foot by not also approving the increased price of $0.208, and finding out (that in spite of what other posters have written about that not being the case) that we ended up receiving the lower previous offer.
@LJD posted "If you want the chance to stop the vote at Resolution 1 then vote: Resolution 1: against Resolution 2: against" which is correct, but I'm not convinced that his advice is foolproof in ensuring that we do receive $0.208 if Res2 gets carried.
The issue is all about Res2. The way I see it is that we have nothing to lose from approving Res1, and we gain by being 100% sure that we did our best to get the $0.208 if Res2 is (unfortunately) carried
