Don't worry too much about daily movement of SP.
It is what it is, SP moves because some people buy, and some people sell.
If you allow a property to be easily trade-able like shares, this will happen too.
There's no reasoning; a lot of time when you read newspaper about which index or shares are up/down, they are simply coming up with a reason after the fact.
Have you ever read something like "market went up because of X", then the next day you read the exact same headline, except it is "market went down because of X", with the same reason X? There you go.
I won't worry unless you see a big move.
