I'm QE I think u will find the competitors products are inferior with regard to calcification, thickening after implantation and immune reaction. Phitofix has no hard data on calcification. Autologous pericardium is difficult to source. Therefore an alternative is required. Cardiocel is not perfect but it's better than competitirs
Tronbirk I don't think it's cost effective to do open heart surgery on animals. It's meant as an animal study for further research on it's performance in humans.
