The value per ounce is low for a variety of reasons and reading backwards through HC will demonstrate the issues at hand, principally its the guy at the top that has shall we say under performed BADLY in recent years. Remember also there's more gold than the 1M oz published etc and likely a number of times this figure so the opportunities with VAN are fantastic, proven ground, prime location, numerous easy targets for initial mining etc.

The real question of low value is I believe the issues surrounding what's holding VAN back?...again the silence from VAN management is noted......
