re: wrxsti...wrong again..van ngyuen gallowed be t As I have always stated and pushed the viewpoint forward, individual countries should be/are entitled to have/set their own laws, be it singularly or collectively as a union, and we, as Australian Citizens should accept and abide by them.
We have no right to dictate law to them, excepting where their laws are in glaring abuse of 'humanitarian law' as set out in the Geneva Convention. The Singapore judgement with regard to Van Nguyen is not in dispute in this regard.
My reference to 'softcoock law' unfortunately falls at our very own doorstep here in Australia thanks to the overzealous pandering of so called 'humanitarian' and 'goody two shoes' causes raised and lobbyed around by people such as yourself, who think that by examination and analysis, personal feelings and beliefs, they can fix the wrong in a 'humanitarian' way and then feel good about themselves. Well it just aint working your way I'm afraid, and more and more people
are sick of hiding in the shadows, and are now standing up and saying "enough is enough!" Australia needs to get its own house in order before we start shooting off at the hip at other countries such as Singapore.
    wrxsti
