The sample used for the Mill Laterite was DC00105 to DC00112. The individual assay's of material that made up this sample ranged from 0.49g/t up to 2.24g/t but its unclear exactly where this material was sourced. The first and second set of averages were similar at 1.66g/t and 1.56g/t to the 1.7g/t that came from an overall assay. Its quite amazing that the confirmed grade via recoveries from this material is 2.7g/t and that the actual recovery was 2.61g/t.

This issue needs more and urgent investigation by TG6. Historical JORC's put the size of laterite material into the hundreds of thousands of ton's. If this material is even half a gram per ton higher than the fire assay's then the profitability of processing this material skyrockets. Areas of laterite that look marginal may actually have a very commercial grade. Can this feature be repeated or was it a one-off from only this material?

This isn't all just distant future stuff. Tasman pit had laterite material on its surface. Laterite material from the Tasman pit estimated to be between around 0.5g/t to 1.5g/t is likely to have been put into these "low grade" piles that TG6 has talked about processing.

Within TG6 quarterly they noted "potential near term cashflow from surface stockpiles and shallow gold mineralisation." While TG6 didn't note the laterite pit material, that's the obvious candidate that would provide near term mining potential from shallow gold mineralisation. Now what "near term" means is unclear.
