I have no doubts Bromine is nasty stuff. I wouldn't eat or drink a Vanadium solution either.
Most of the market for VRFB (AVL) is the same as ZBM (RFX) batteries Commerical, Industrial, Mining, Rural, GridScale, Telco etc.
IMO, neither company is likely to make large inroads to the Residential markets in the near term. Many typical house blocks are already lacking in yard space.

At least flow batteries such as VRFB (AVL) and ZBM (RFX) dont burn.
