VR8 4.44% 4.3¢ vanadium resources limited

    Replying to myself because I finally read the whole article and found this line intriguing:

    Another issue is cost. At present, vanadium is very expensive. The price has risen 20-fold since the company started developing the product. With the startup-like production capacity and high resource prices, the batteries cost around double what competitively priced lithium-ion batteries cost.

    I must have been looking at a different chart, because I don't see where that 20-fold number comes from? Unless they started developing in 2000 and bought all their vanadium in late 2018??

    Anyone got a theory that could explain their statement?
