Just to clarify V-Sun technically don't have "a battery", as in their own propriotary battery.
That install was a Gildemeister Cell-Cube from a German manufacturer.

My understanding is V-Sun's intention is to have batteries from third party manufacturers imported to Australia and use AVL's own Vanadium Electrolyte.

As with anything the Gildemeister was very expensive being German made, there are options coming from Asia which will be much more affordable and just as good.
That way they are able to pick and choose the best manufacturer for various applications and won't be tied to one particular product............ the money is in the electrolyte.
As for the other claim about first VRB, it's basically marketing bulls#it to me !!
