Difficult to know if AVL is just as you say "riding the wave" - I am a fairly long term holder and with an average of just on 2c have been in the red for some considerable time so the recent SP escalation is very welcome.

To state the obvious the big question is can management take the resource and current sentiment and put something together. IMHO the current "metal" stampede is just another bubble as has occurred in other sectors of mining / tech etc many times. The world wants these new resources undoubtedly some companies will get projects up and when the bubble bursts (as it inevitably will) they and their shareholders will benefit as they got their project up - others will as we have seen in the past sink like a stone as either their management could not capitalise on the opportunity presented or the project economics were not as competitive as others.

AVL has positives - the December PFS was attractive, Vandium Redox batteries seem to present great advantages over lithium for certain energy applications, higher demand for Vandium in other areas, good location, Federal MPS status etc.

Management need to expedite the BFS and take advantage of the present demand and conditions.
