Well currently VSUN are an agency for batteries manufactured elsewhere.
Considering Australia can no longer even support a car manufacturing industry with many decades long history and much needed employment, I see it as highly unlikely anybody will be able to manufacture VRB's in Australia economically.
I believe the individual parts can be sourced overseas and assembled locally which makes more sense, thats why many of them end up assembled into shipping into containers.
This benefits to VSUN will be the same as the benefits to the many thousands of Australian businesses whom are suppliers, agencies and importers of different products and technologies from around the globe which are highly lucrative businesses.
I would assume initially they will source the batteries from overseas manufacturers, and produce the electrolyte locally in the planned electrolyte manufacturing facility, as the electrolyte is I believe somewhere in the realms of 1/2 the cost of the VRB.
