What might need to be considered is the workforce capability and logistics to actually be able to set up charing stations along the key highways. Keep in mind that any system requires maintenance and the ability to have this actioned immediately - especially if these are the only options along massive trade routes. In many instances, it may not be sustainable (as in financially and time/charging ratio) to have self-sufficient charging points for this purpose. It certainly is possible, but to make it feasible financially, AVL would have to make them available to any trucks along the way. The issue there is whether or not competiting end-users would be willing to wait for that to happen (if they even accept a transition to electric from diesel).
