I strongly believed that Australian Governments felt very beholden to Elon Musk when he told them he could solve all their battery problems quickly using his lithium batteries. They were too scared to apply general oversight and question his product, but now we all know what the main issues are with duration longevity and overheating. VRFB availability was of course not enough advanced to compete at the time but it now highlights even more the future for VRFB and can only progress from here. It is easy to get frustrated in the depressed Vanadium prices and slow speed of acceptance but once the governments accept the long term benefits of VRFB the demand will elevate the price for Vanadium to a level that is profitable long term.
