… “A bankable feasibility study in 2022 put a C1 operating cost of US$4.43/lb on the Australian Vanadium Project, estimating it would cost US$435m ($604m) to construct the project containing a mine, concentrator and separate process plant near Geraldton producing 24.7Mlb of V2O5 and 900,000t of FeTi co-product each year over an initial 25-year mine life.”


- That’s from [here] published eight days ago giving the most recent public costings.

Against this $604m (and have costs gone up, or perhaps there are pist-merger variables which bring costs down?), the market cap at AVL at present (for around 5 billion shares) is $94.4m.

Soon to be merged TMT is no longer trading - shareholders are waiting for Monday when each of their shares will be converted into 14 new AVL shares (adding about 3 billion new AVL shares in total?)
And the final trade at TMT was 26c a share, ie the market cap there is currently $66.11m:



- So the current (‘paper’ ) value of the combined entity is $160.51m?


Clearly if AVL gets secure funding the price here will climb.
Will it be able to do this with its new management team and an expanded life of mine after the merger?
I hope so.

Cornerstone investor at TMT - Resource Capital Funds - holds about 19% of TMT(?) and I think bought in at an average of around 35c a share.
Meanwhile its’ average price to become a cornerstone holder of AVL is - I think - at least 2.93c a share across an investment of just under $27m last year. [ref].
And possibly around 35c a share at TMT for more than $15m spend in total since late 2022.
On my maths that’s an investment into the combined project of at least $42m in hard money.

I’m looking forward to coming weeks and months in the hopes that the extraordinary recent investments in this project in terms of money, people and hard work bear fruit for all.
