I agree Va will have a big role to play in energy applications. But, will AVL? Va is currently produced from existing iron ore (magnetite) mines waste, additionally oil wells, blast furnances all produce Va as waste. This recovery of Va from waste will become part of the green credentials for battery sales. ( no additional CO2 was produced in making our batteries, we didnt have to expend more energy (diesel)producing our product then it will store in a battery and we didnt kill any koalas) .
In two or three years, following two or three Capital Raisings the dilution of shares on issue (FPO and options) will dimish their value greatly.
As you state, high risk/high reward but it is a DEFINITE high risk for a ever decreasing potential for high reward. IMO
