And picked up by Perth Now as well - so great publicity for vanadium?
And there was more last week from Madeleine King after the US meetings;
https://thewest.com.au/politics/fed...ical-minerals-to-catch-up-to-china-c-12314632
Here’s a couple of excerpts ..
… ..”Resources Minister Madeleine King said the enthusiasm from the Biden administration was such that Australia would see investment flowing and new projects getting off the ground very quickly.
Speaking after meetings in Washington DC with her counterparts in the US cabinet and senior industry leaders, Ms King said the personal connections being forged during the visit would also smooth the way for new projects.
“The compact that the Prime Minister and the President signed in May has led to this but now it’s pulling all the stops out to make sure we can get that industry up and running,” she told The West in a sit-down interview.
“To some extent, of course, it already is but the demand for lithium but also other critical minerals is going to be so high to support green technologies that we have to collaborate and cooperate on this or we won’t get there.”
…..
“..The Government announced on Tuesday it would double its critical minerals facility to $4 billion.
The initial $2 billion allocated has been nearly exhausted with loans granted to Iluka to process rare earths and EcoGraf, both in WA, and Renascor to mine and process spherical graphite in SA.
Australia’s financing facilities are also teaming up with their American counterparts to back projects.”
