Is there a date for completion of the 64,000 tonnes requirement ?

Assuming it is all built this year (2024/2025) and other vanadium flow battery makers want to take the rest, then what happens to the steel buyers?
I understand it is added in the refinery process to strengthen steel, so they are not going to just stop buying it?

And will this year see the same amount of production as quoted in that story ( ie 100,000 tonnes in 2023).
I read Bushveld has not given any production figures for this year.
05/02/24 Morningstar reported

“Looking ahead, Bushveld reported that its guidance has been suspended pending receipt of funds from Southern Point Resources.
It added that its January 2024 production of 267 mt has been affected by its current constrained cash position.”​

So thanks again for that Queensland premier reference but if anyone wants to offer more thoughta, I’m still a bit unclear on the timelines for those Chinese batteries, plus what the steel makers will do if all the vanadium goes to VFBs this year
….As well as what vanadium production will actually be.
