I worked for Theiss Toyota,(which was the Australian national distributor for Toyota commercial vehicles) from 1981. We had Australian management but were owned by Toyota Japan. Kaisen is used by Toyota to realise the depth of knowledge within their staff. Businesses do not always know their employees full skills and Toyota promotes rewards for suggesting improvements in the work place. Yes, something that could be used more in companies.
