As Tivan is now Vanadium focused thought I'd start a thread to highlight and promote the growing uses for this amazing metal.

I guess I'll start...

Vanadium batteries. We all know about the VRFB but another V battery that could send the demand curve parabolic is the V-ion battery. Not much is known about it yet (kinda like the VRFB) and it's still yet to be commercialised, however it sounds very promising.

Standard Energy are developing the V-ion battery and plan (among other things) to put them into electric ships. Welcome to the future...
