    Agree @grudgy . The vanadium market is mainly for use in steel production hence the massive Saudi interest in SRN and the Victory Bore project. The VRFB demand will be interesting as vanadium gives long life batterry storage manufacturers an edge and that nearly all the old electrolyte can be recycled.

    Given what we see with climate change and ever more catastrophic climate events the push to decarbomisation will only get stronger and long life batteries will play an incredibly important part because they can be positioned virtually anywhere unlike pumped hydro which can be huge but only at selected locations generally a long way (think long transmission line) away from where the population or industry is that needs the electricity.
