I have had my moments of concern that one of the reasons we haven't seen any financial estimates at all or resource updates etc could be due to capex blowing out more than expected, and rather than risk a share dump unnecessarily, set those details aside until EPA is done, the external in depth financial analysis report is done, and for the hopefulls, maybe something like NAIF is in play in a meaningful enough way to be included in the announcement and ease shakey hands.
It's just speculation and a bit of pessimism, and I know other reasons we haven't seen any figures put out..
That being said, even north of $700mil, I still have a lot of optimism too for TMT finding funding.
$150mil is potentially already locked up through dutch export finance (not that our market cap reflects a cent of it), RCF obviously have some weight they can put behind us if they want this thing moving, Tata as well even more weight could contribute, NAIF has been engaged for several years now and honestly it would be shameful if they aren't prepared to contribute anything, government opening these big billion $ funds to support business right along the lines of TMT and what our resource means for the future of energy and cleaner steel.
And these things can't be isolated from the fact TMT is the nearest to being construction ready of any vanadium play in Australia, potentially the lowest opex and on the lower end of capex for an Aus vanadium producer, mixed with govenrments spruiking green energy and wanting to show action, that isn't going away anytime soon...
In my opinion this puts TMT in a slightly different catagory than say, another lithium or gold producers with equivelant financial outcomes.
We'd all love to be seeing this supposed future vanadium demand reflected in the V price, but also if that were the case, we wouldn't be a hidden gem at sub 30c, sub $100mil market cap.
Here for the upside, and bought a lot (as we all have), while risk is 100% priced into the share price.
All the de-risk boxes are due very soon too, so anyone just coming in now to convince us this is a dud,,, maybe hold off a few Months and see if the arguement still holds up.. No one here is going to be convinced to leave now.
