It speaks to the price of both companies either doing such a great PR job pre-merger that the price of each was pumped to unsustainable levels.
Or it speaks to TMT turning out not to be what AVL thought it was acquiring (great PR on the part of TMT in that case) (The Wood report will clarify this if so…
Or it speaks to the fact something else is going on which has nothing to do with ‘mum and dad’ investors who are the ones who normally respond to PR.
