What seems like bad news for vanadium is actually great news!
50% of Chinas vanadium supply comes from secondary sources of supply via steel slag.
1. The above will sink the iron ore price. 2. China does not produce more steel for more vanadium. 3. Primary mines are now required to fill the V205 supply into batteries.
Great news for AVL this will mean china will ramp down the steel industry, iron ore industry and all secondary supply products via slags.
China then has to become a net importer via Primary mines and guess where the next deposit is for the amount of V205 for batteries they need.

High grade V205 will be a very competitive markets with Ronke power potentially moving into Australia very soon.
