my opinion on VRFB businesses is they are being manufactured then shipped via containers. Once a VRFB can be manufactured locally and electrolyte then the margins will start to come.
The low cost of V205 allows market consumption and penetration on volume however due to shipping costs profitability is not reaching potential.
The minute V205 and or shipping rates increase VRFB market penetration stops as it is still a fringe market technology….Once a mainstream energy storage technology in country manufacturing will support profitability.
that’s why China is forging ahead they meet all the local pit to battery criteria.
The western world is shipping V205 and batteries
