Admittedly I am not overly familiar with most aspects, but this system seems ideal for use in applications such as POW is trying to commercialise. I understand that vanadium with its multi valency states can store huge amounts of electrical energy but are they troubled by electrode performance in any way.

Underlying my interest in this is my long held belief that wave and tide energy as opposed to normal wind and solar energies will prove to be a more viable long term source in many situations.

Nearly 20 years ago there was a lot of interest in Vanadium batteries

Companies were Pinnacle VRB
Vanteck
Vanadium Redox Battery

Main trouble was the acid electrolyte was so corrosive they leaked like a sieve

So did shareholders funds
