SW it is not that people are not persuaded its more more restrained and quietly optimistic rather than unbridled enthusiasm bordering on blatant up-ramping. There is no need to hope people make money most of the older hands have already, we are more annoyed with ourselves we didn't take money off the table at some of the Key price points and then come back in. I like this thread on Vanadium because I am also invested in TMT and see Redox flow batteries as a huge step forward. I also am sure that RF will if not already have a strong interest in Vanadium mining. I see opportunities for CLQ to participate but not a foregone conclusion.
Many of your comments seem to be based on research but a little history could help. Sometimes I think I have missed something and need a reminder of where you get your assertions from which are sometimes lost in in your verbose answers and if unchallenged used later as a reference. For example the following (sorry for the caps and bold type I am not shouting at you or adopting a rude writing style merely copying your text)
"You asserted that CLQ will sell vanadium extraction technology to other miners. I asked you for the basis of your opinion; you have given none. I say they WILL NOT, based on their stated policy."
I was not aware of any unique vanadium extraction technology I was of the opinion that it is an iron exchange process with an application to many minerals. While mineral extraction using iron exchange has been around for a lot of year. This link to an article on Puritech may help, note the cobalt extraction para.

The thing you need to emphasis is that CLQ have modified this exchange process and now call it a Proprietary exchange system. The next thing you need to tell people that while it has the potential to have great benefits in regard to cost and time their proprietary system has only been fully utilised to demonstration plant stage not in such a large undertaking as Sunrise. I am confident it will fly, but I have been known to be wrong.
I too am of the opinion CLQ will sell the ion exchange process for mineral extraction, my opinion is based on the fact they have already done this.
"Clean TeQ Holdings (ASX: CLQ) has reached non-binding agreements with Japan’s Ishihara Sangyo Kaisha (ISK) for the use of its proprietary Clean-iX® technology to recover scandium from Titanium Dioxide intermediate acidic process streams."
this happened in 2012 (so tempted to bold and underline 2012) and can be referenced here. Sorry was unable to copy link but google "Clean TeQ holdings makes scandium recovery deals with Japanese titanium producer" and you will get the full argument.
Also Carbine was reported to be using CLQ technology to clean the water and extract gold from the tailings at the Mt Morgan project. It is my understanding that the technology was dropped in favour another for some reason and then Carbine fell over because it was no longer financially viable . This cost me a lot of money and is further evidence that I can be wrong. If you want to talk CRB go to that forum and discuss it a lot of trouble souls there.
I would also suggest that your assertion that people didn't know about scandium a few months ago is a bit off the mark the above story would suggest they were into scandium extraction as far back as 2012, that could be back before RF. Many of the poster here are here because the scandium promised long term potential. I'm suggesting 2025 before we see it in the airbus. There are some people here that were involved in the debate when CLQ decided to drop the "Scandium only" plant which was going to cost $60m in favour of the Cobalt Nickel and scandium plant that was going to cost $400m which then became 700-800m and is likely to be somewhat north of $1B come the DFS.
As for getting excited about water and CLQ there were a lot of people that were excited about Clean TeQ Air. That was sold off long ago. I wouldn't rule out selling off CLQ water to fund Sunrise. Personally I hope they don't but if that is the intention I hope they float it and give CLQ shareholders first dibs my hand will be up.
The point being is that CLQ have sold off businesses and licensed processes in the past. It has worked for them and must be included on the options based on past experience not conjecture.
